Drawing effect in After Effect Tut

Have you ever seen some interesting doodle video on YouTube and wanted to make by yourself another one like that?
There are some basic steps by which you can create your own doodle video

Tool: After Effect

1. Open After Effect -> File -> New Project (Ctrl + Alt + N)
2. Right Click on the Project Panel then Import -> File for your Background. If you don't have, you can Chose Import -> Solid. Drag and drop it into your Composition panel
   
3. Insert your object which you want to draw. In this case, I use text
4. Use Pen Tool (G) Draw the line between your object. It will be the drawing line later on.
   
5. On the Menu bar chose Effect -> Generate -> Stroke
6. You will see Profile like that on the Effect panel (left hand)
   
7. Click All Mask if you use multiple pen line. In that profile, you can change Brush size to fit your object lines.
8. To set starting point and ending point: Click End watch and reduce the percent to 0% then drag the Current Time Indicator to time you want and set End percent to 100%
9. In Paint Style, chose REVEAL ORIGINAL IMAGE.
